Meet the Team
Tania Ashraf, Founder & CEO
Thank you for being here and taking the time to learn about what we are building.
Let me take a moment to introduce myself.
I have 25 years of work experience having worked for global development organizations, including the World Bank, IFC, BRAC International, Grameen Foundation, and the American India Foundation.
Across every role, one gap remained clear:
Women in Bangladesh have talent — but not enough access to mentorship and leadership pathways.
Despite progress, only 8–9% of leadership roles are held by women.
That is not a pipeline problem. It is an access problem.
Throughout my career, I found myself informally mentoring colleagues — offering guidance, listening, and supporting their growth.
Seeing their confidence grow, and their paths expand, made me realize something simple but powerful: Mentorship changes trajectories.
And I began to ask:
What if we could make that access intentional, structured, and widely available?
EGIYE was built from that question.
A space where women can connect across experience levels.
Where leadership is nurtured through trust, reflection, and support.
Where confidence is not assumed — but built.
To the women who will be mentored:
Leadership is not distant. We will help you see that.
To the leaders who will mentor:
Your story is someone else’s roadmap. EGIYE is how you share it.
To our partners and believers:
Women’s leadership is not a side cause — it is the cause.
Let’s move forward — together.
এগিয়ে চলো.
